Just to inform those of you who use Prospect Road in Scarborough, it will be closed to traffic on the 7th May for maintenance. The planned closure is expected to last 2 weeks and is being carried out by Yorkshire Water.
Here is the only information I could find!
The text below is taken From EYMS.co.uk
North Yorkshire Highways have told us that Prospect Road in Scarborough will be closed for about two weeks from Tuesday 7 May.
During this time Services 5 & 6 will have to divert, missing stops on Raleigh Street and at the top of Prospect Road.
Service 5 will divert from Northway to Columbus Ravine, Dean Road, Manor Road and then back to its normal route.
Service 6 will divert from Manor Road along Dean Road, Columbus Ravine and then onto Northway.
Being a resident of Prospect Road I find it a little out of order to discover the closure by way of a sign hiding next to a garden wall on Prospect Road which was only noticeable as I was on foot!
Please could you all share this post, by using the icons below, as I am sure you will know someone who may be affected by changes to the bus route and also those who use the road for school runs etc.
Many Thanks
